Nude Lunch Boxes

Children are now exposed to many unhealthy types of food everywhere they go. It is your job as parents to educate them as to what healthy choices are. Why not turn that risky situation into a safer experience for your kids? Take the effort to assure the safety of the food you are giving them by personally and conveniently preparing their food.

Schools are now participating in the nude food revolution and encouraging children to bring and eat healthy lunches to school. ‘Healthy or Super food to-go’, that is what Nude Food is all about. Short for Nutrient-Dense Food. Nude Food is food without excess packaging. This reduces the amount of unnecessary rubbish that needs to go in the bin and therefore decreases landfill. Durable, reusable Nude Lunch Boxes are a great way to bring food to school as they may last from pre-school through to high school and beyond, providing long term, cost savings and environmental benefits.

Giving your children Nude Food is a good way to teach them the value of eating healthy foods and caring for the environment in one shot. Participating in Nude Food Day encourages mums to make their kids’ lunch healthy, nutritious and environmentally friendly by filling it with healthy ingredients and eliminating all unnecessary wrapping of the food that may contain harmful chemicals.

Why Go NUDE?

  1. It improves your child’s nutrition – preparing waste free lunches reduces the consumption of unnecessary packages, prevents your child from eating processed foods and increases the intake of fresh, whole foods, while decreasing the intake of nasty additives and preservatives.
  2. It saves the environment – simply avoid the use of cling wrap, juice boxes, plastic water bottles and all unnecessary packaging that might harm us and our environment.
  3. Helps you SAVE money – homemade foods like carrots, apple, and beans are much cheaper than the packaged and processed food that you can buy in the supermarket.

Nude Food partnered with Nutrition Australia in an effort to help spread the healthy body plus healthy planet message initiated the ‘National Nude Food Day’ an event participated in by schools and companies. They schedule specific school lunches and work lunches day for Nude Food. This event provides the opportunity to take a closer look at what people are eating for their meals.

Nude Food Day

In schools, Nude Food Day may be an opportunity to fundraise through running an individual Healthy Body or Healthy Planet event.

The overall stand of Nude Food Day is to combine efforts to save a large amount of rubbish from going into land fill. As Australia struggle to tackle the obesity crisis and war on junk food, Nude Food Day preparation can remind everyone of the little things they can do to make a difference.

Giving your child Nude Food for school is a fantastic way to teach children about how their choice of eating health foods can impact the environment. Focusing on the positive message of ‘Nude Food = a Healthy Body + a Healthy Planet’. By this, you and your child can join hands to fight the pressing concern on obesity and the drive for a cleaner environment.
